Step 1: Thuya Vegan Permanent Gel

Vegan Permanent Gel gently softens the inner structure of the hair by delicately breaking some of the cross-links within and between the protein chains, using a vegan-friendly formula. As a result, the hair swells, stretches, and becomes more flexible for precise reshaping.

Step 2: Thuya Vegan Neutralizer Cream

Vegan Neutralizer Cream is then applied to “set” the new shape of the hair by reinserting the cross-linking bonds.

Step 3: Thuya Vegan Regenerating Cream

Vegan Regenerating Cream seals and nourishes the hair after lamination, promoting strength and moisture with a plant-powered blend.

Enriched with Vitamin E, it improves the hair structure, deeply moisturizes, and enhances resilience.

Argan Oil, rich in polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acids and vitamins A, E, and F, protects and conditions the hair, helping to maintain the lamination and tinting results.

HOW TO APPLY 

Thuya NYC Eyebrow Lamination Processing Times

Thin/Sparse Eyebrows: Refers to fine or less densely packed eyebrow hairs. Processing times for Steps 1 (Thuya Vegan Permanent Gel) and 2 (Thuya Vegan Neutralizer Cream) are 10-11 minutes.

Medium Eyebrows: Refers to eyebrow hairs that are of average thickness and density, neither too thin nor too thick. Processing times for Steps 1 (Thuya Vegan Permanent Gel) and 2 (Thuya Vegan Neutralizer Cream) are 12-13 minutes.

Thick/Coarse Eyebrows: Refers to eyebrow hairs that are densely packed and have a noticeable thickness. Processing times for Steps 1 (Thuya Vegan Permanent Gel) and 2 (Thuya Vegan Neutralizer Cream) are 14-15 minutes.

Please note: It is important to assess a client’s brow hair thickness and structure to determine suitable processing times. In some cases, you may need to adjust the processing time by adding or subtracting a minute.

AFTER CARE 

Thuya Client After Care

Proper aftercare is important for maintaining the results of your brow lamination procedure, which typically lasts between 4-6 weeks.

Without the use of Thuya regenerating cream to support the eyebrows, the results may not last as long.

We recommend following Thuya NYC Client After Care guidelines:

• Do not get brows or lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment.
• Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
• Refrain from wearing eye makeup for 12 hours and use oil-free makeup remover when necessary.
• Avoid touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area to prevent irritation.
• Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid weakening the perm effect and fading the tint color.
• Avoid using chlorine and certain skincare products, as they may shorten the effects of the perm and tints.
